GILBERT BRIDGE Gilbert bridge was completed in 1914 and named after the acting Governor-General in the Philippines, Newton Whiting Gilbert. It has a length of 0.77 kilometers and traverses the pristine Padsan River. It serves as the "gateway" to the City of Laoag. It has undergone reconstruction in 19__ and made it to a four-lane bridge, and recently renamed Marcos Bridge. More Places of Interest
