The United States 13^th Air Force Office of the Command Surgeon (AF/SGX) conducted the Final Planning Conference with the members of the Laoag City Disaster Coordinating Council, on July 20-22 at the Fort Ilocandia Resort and Casino.

The Laoag City Social Welfare and Development Office, together with SPED Teachers from the different schools and groups of Laoag City, launched the 32^nd National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week yesterday during the regular Monday flag-raising ceremonies in front of the City Hall.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office commemorated the Nutrition Month last July 23, 2010, eight o'clock in the morning at the Laoag City Basketball Court with the theme "Sa pagkain ng tama at sapat,wastong timbang ni baby ang katapat" .

Laoag City Officials led by Acting Mayor Eddie P. Domingo and ABC President Chevylle V. Fariñas proclaimed the winners in the 2009 Search for the Cleanest, Greenest, and Most Productive Barangays as well as the Best Performing Barangay Peace and Order Committees.

Acting on the request of the Market Superintendent, Mr. Joshua Paulino,  Mayor Michael V. Fariñas instructed the Information Technology Division to facilitate for the installation of another set of 16 CCTV Cameras at the said building.
